I was so excited to receive a Couples Night In Gift Set from UncommonGoods.com to review. In a word, romantic. I received the following three items. Wine Cork Candles (set of 12), the 12 Ways To Say I Love You Journal, and Love Tokens (set of 10).
I’ll start with the Wine Cork Candles (set of 12). The cork candles are so realistic, if I just saw one laying around I’d swear it was a cork instead of a candle. You can stick one of the candles in the mouth of a used wine bottle to turn it into a candlestick providing a romantic atmosphere in an instant without having to get out those fancy candlesticks. I have put them in some of my other candlesticks and liked them in those as well. The candles are pleasant smelling which is great because they don’t come in different scents. Maybe the company would consider offering different scents at some time in the future. In the meantime having a pleasant smell and unique as well as attractive candle makes these a favorite with us.
12 Ways To Say I Love You Journal. If you need help in the romance department this hand bound in Rhode Island by Jason Thompson journal is a must have. Each page is different and I have to say the love letter page is my favorite page. Sticking a love letter in it makes this keepsake book just so personal between you and your loved one. You can add photos and a list of songs that make you think of your sweetheart. These are just a few things you can do with this journal. Fill in the pages to personalize this love book and tell that special someone in a unique way how you feel about them.
The last item I received were Love Tokens (set of 10). These are what they say they are, they are tokens. Cute pewter vouchers that have a number of token choices on them. What a fun way to rekindle that romance that needs a little boost. You can surprise your spouse or girl/boyfriend with a token for breakfast in bed, a massage or any number of things.
