The Soy Scandle Candle burns 2 degrees above body temperature to produce a wonderful healthy body oil that masks skin imperfections. Scandal candles use natural minerals that diffuse light (scattered light that forms the image). This candle is perfect for a massage, just burn the candle until it melts to the edge of the canister then pour the oil in your hand and use it for a massage, cuticle treatments, manicure, pedicure or as an every day moisturizer. I’ve been using this on my lips as a lip balm although I’ve not read where it can be used for that. It taste so good and because it is made with all natural oils I thought I would try it. I’m a lipbalmaholic. It does not specifically resemble Lavender to me but the smell is one of the most relaxing scents I’ve ever come across.
I’m including some photos so you can see the wonderful oils as the wax melts. Don’t it make you want to dive in? This is way better than my daily moisture body lotion. And the smell lingers on my skin making me feel like I’m at a spa. I wish there was a scratch n sniff option on the screen like there is on the candle lid. Heavenly is the only word I know to describe the smell.
I received a beautiful Scandle Essentials Travel Candle. The aromatherapy effects are so soothing. Fragrant wonderful scents relax me so by the time the oil melts I’m in a wonderfully relaxed state waiting for a massage or to give one. My candle came in a square lightweight tin perfect for travel. I particularly wanted to try this one because I’d like to take some of these on vacation with us this year. A lot of moving around and activity causes my back pain to increase. Having available massage candles could save me a lot of stress from the pain during our cruise. I won’t have to worry about them breaking in transit. It has a cute Silicone band around it which makes it easy to hold and pour the candle without it slipping or sliding. After the candle has burned this band can be used as an eco-wrist band reminder to “Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.” You can purchase this particular candle for Price: $16.95. The burn time varies with the candles depending on what you are using it for.
Now for the fun part! I’m going to post my photos where I tried this on cuticles, as a hand moisturizer, on tosies, all over feet and on the back. I want to point out one thing. I over done the amount of this oil the first go around because I wanted it to show up in the photos. The second go around I wasn’t concentrating on photos, only the product, and I had a much better outcome because I used less (it got in our hair the first time we tried it). A little of this goes a long way. After using this product I’ve discovered taking one Scandle Essentials Travel Candle will be enough for our vacation this year. Anytime I can pack less, I’m one happy camper.
Start with a freshly blown out Scandle Candle. I took a photo immediately after I blew it out so you could see how clean it burns. Soy candles are great like that. There was the tiniest wisp of smoke. Not black, white. I make sure to clean the wick before I light it so none of the blackness will drop in my oil. I just lightly pull it all off with a Kleenex.
Who shouldn’t use the Scandle?
Pyromaniacs and those allergic to nut based products. Because the Scandle contains soy, jojoba, and shea oils.
