The Protect-A-Bed Basic Waterproof Mattress Protector is a sheet type mattress protector so it’s easy to put on as well as easy to remove. With my crazy back, having something easy to use is worth everything to me. I can’t bend, lift or otherwise. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about how well this would cover Abby’s mattress because hers is thicker than some mattresses. This protector fit perfectly.
Surprisingly the mattress protector is soft. The top and the main panel are both made with 100 percent polyester and the bottom is made with a 100 percent polyurethane film backing to repel liquids. The stitching is nice and tight so I didn’t worry about it coming apart the first time I had to wash it. This protector is made with a breathable barrier fabric so it’s cool to sleep on. Some mattress protectors will make you sweat.

I like that the material is woven tightly and that it is cool to sleep on. Its important that my grandson do not wake up all sweaty. I find them very cranky if the are not comfortable this makes them sleep well at night.
