Loaf Pan

I received a small loaf pan from Emerson Creek Pottery to review, and it has become my favorite loaf pan to date. I can cook with it in the oven or microwave and it’s dishwasher safe. I selected a lovely hand painted Tuscan Olive design; I thought the design and colors were just perfect for the fall season and I knew they would blend in well with my fall kitchen linens.

Cooking and Recipes

This beautiful piece of pottery has a shiny glaze with specks of color throughout the pan. Like I mentioned earlier, the loaf pan is hand painted, giving it a unique look. I haven’t had any problems at all with food sticking to the pan. I spray a light coating of non stick spray on the bottom and sides before adding my goods. My breads and quiche turned out really well using this pan. It did not dry my food out, not that I thought it would, I really enjoy cooking with ceramic bakeware. Everything I’ve cooked in the pan has turned out exceptionally well. I can’t find one complaint in that department. This particular loaf pan makes enough for 2 or 3 persons, depending on the size of the appetites.
