  2. I would love to win this Kindle because I normally use my phone to read ebooks ( I have the Kindle App). But reading on my iphone can be quite annoying, because of how small the screen is. So reading it on where it is meant to be read on ( the Kindle) would be fantastic. I also wanted to say Congrats to the mommy to be Andrea. Girls are so much fun! Enjoy every momemt, because boy do they grow up so fast!! :)

I love to read! I am in a book club- we meet the last Thursday of every month. I’m reading all the time and how nice it would be to just pick up my Kindle and download my monthly book club pick and start reading right away. I also read to my twin boys all the time, they would love it too!
    Awesome giveaway! Thanks!

  6. I would love to win this for my sister. She has Crohn’s Disease and is not doing well. She sits in the hospital for several hours every day on IVs. This would be great for her to be able to read while she’s there!

  10. Nikkita Berg says:

The Reading Links subscription just takes me to a page with lots of writing on it but no way to subscribe. I don’t want to take the points for subscribing to the rest without doing that one. What should I do?

  11. Nikkita Berg says:

First off I would like to thank Andrea Pearson for providing this amazing giveaway! I would love to win this for myself. I have been using my mom’s iPad to read my kindle books. I love to lay in bed and read at night. I have been wanting a Kindle but we have been low on cash so it would be great if I won this one! Thank you again Andrea for providing this amazing giveaway!

  12. I have the 2nd generation model and would really like to upgrade. If for no other reason, to get a new one with that has more memory to hold more books. I’ve bought a ton of books, but I’m really a big fan of looking to see what books are available for free because there is a surprising amount of decent genre stuff out there that Amazon makes periodically available at no cost. If I won this prize, I would give my mother my old Kindle and she could be introduced to the world of the eReader. I hope I win!

  13. Kelly Britton says:

I would love to win this because I don’t have, and have never had, a cell phone. Which nowadays everyone has. My daughter in law reads for hours on hers. I don’t really need a cell phone, I guess….but I love to read and a Kindle would be so nice to have. I love reading in bed, unfortunately, my two dogs and one cat also love to lay beside me. So needless to say I’m always trying to get comfortable and constantly losing my place in my book! It really drags on my nerves. LOL Thank you so much for offering such a nice prize and the opportunity to win something I would love to have. :)

  14. Michelle L says:

this would be a perfect gift for my boyfriend

  15. i would love to be lucky in this

  16. jean norton says:

    love to win

  17. Amanda Phillips says:

I’d love to win this because I read constantly. In fact, most of my iPhone battery is used during the day using the Kindle app. Sadly, there comes a point in the day that I MUST stop reading or I won’t have my phone to use for emergencys. The kindle would be great because I could load books from Amazon just as easily (plus it comes with 5 free books, thats awesome!) as I can onto my iPhone via Amazons Whispernet technology and then not have to waste the battery on my cell. This sounds like a win-win to me!

As a side note – congrats to Andrea on your first baby and THANK YOU for the giveaway!

  18. Megan W says:

I would love to win this kindle. I have a ton of kindle books on my phone and its crowding it…and I would love to have a bigger screen to read on. I am always looking for new books to read and would love to read her books.

  22. LAMusing says:

No place to post it in the form – my Facebook name is the name in my email address

  23. LAMusing says:

I’d love to win this for my mom for Christmas! She’s 82 and reading is her greatest pleasure, but she has limited space for books and it’s not easy for her to get to the library or a book store for new titles. I’m unemployed and can’t afford to buy her one so this would be a blessing.

  24. Roberta H. says:

Such a fun giveaway!!! My family would LOVE this!!! Thanks so much!!

  25. Thanks for the great giveaway. I have a kindle app on my phone but I’ve wanted a kindle for a while now. I really hope I win.

  26. Britney W says:

Thanks for this opportunity to win a Kindle! What a great way to spread awareness for this author! I’m a huge bookworm and an English teacher, and I’d love to have my favorite books, classics, and new reads on more portable medium to read on trips, at school, or at the gym. I’d carry it everywhere in my purse! Again, thanks for the opportunity and the great idea!

  27. Michelle C says:

I have been wanting to get a Kindle to share with my five kids. We already own a Kindle Fire, but sometimes I want to read a book of my own while the kids are using our Kindle Fire. I have an Amazon Prime membership so I get to check out free books on my kindle every month, so I could really enjoy a Kindle. And I know my kids would appreciate me letting them use the Kindle Fire more often. Thank you!

  28. Colleen Boudreau says:

I would give this to my mom for Christmas. I already own a kindle and she’s been wanting one for a while. :) Thank you!

  29. This is such a great giveaway! If I won this Kindle, I would give it to my Daughter, she loves to read! She dosent have a e-reader yet, but I think she would love one! The features of a Kindle are awesome ** ( able to download books quickly and easily, you can choose your font size, and its easy to hold! )

  31. A Kindle is on my Christmas wish list. I love to read especially when it is cold outside. There are so many ebooks out there right now that I would enjoy. I can see myself reading on my new Kindle while sitting on my couch with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate in my hand.

  32. Betsy Rubendall Barnes says:

If I won the Kindle, I would give it to my hubby. Right now, he has a lot of down time at his job and he could spend that time reading his favorite sfi ebooks. It is so nice of Andrea Pearson to offer a great giveaway and I would certainly use my hubby’s Kindle to read her ebooks. Thank you so much! :)

  33. Kimberly says:

This is such a fun generous giveaway. I’m excited to read the free book and the kindle would be so much better to read it on than my iPhone, especially while nursing baby!

  34. This would be so perfect for my guy . Took me awhile but I finally got him to at least open a gmail account. Now he is looking at some of the movies and cool books he can get on line and is hinting that he would like a kindle.

  35. I have a friend who spends tons of time on the road and unfortuantely away from her family. She’s a voracious reader so if I won this I’d give it to her. It would be one less bag for her to pack since all her books could be in one place. I love my kindle and I know she’d love one too.

  36. BlackAsphodel says:

I’d like to cozy up in bed with the Kindle and read fanfiction because that’s what relaxes me the most. Thank you for giving us a chance to win!

Many thanks to the sponsor Andrea Pearson, the host Terri”s Little Haven (and I’m sorry, I read there were two hosts but could not figure out who the other host is. ??? My apologies.) for the chance to win a Kindle and all those great free books! I have a disability and it’s hard for me to read books on my PC. I don’t have the money to justify spending any to buy a Kindle so it has been on my “One day … ” wish list that’d make my life so much easier! Thanks again to all of you for this great opportunity! You are going to make some lucky winner a very happy person! That’s very generous of you! :)

  38. suzette arndt says:

would love to give this to my daughter

  39. suzette arndt says:

this would be an awesome gift to give my daughter. She loves reading

  40. Kindles are very convenient. Not only can you read your favorite books on them (and have them on your device in a few moments), but they’re portable and make reading a book even easier! (as if we needed a reason to read more) I’d like to thank Ms Pearson for this lovely giveaway! I think If I won this, I would give it to my sister for Christmas :)

  41. Hello – I’m here via Erin via Irish… I DLed Andrea’s book to my iPhone (THANK YOU!!), but I’d LOVE a Kindle! I have been an avid reader/writer since pre-K and have passed the love of words to my now-grown children and young grandchildren. I look forward to sharing The Keys of Kilenya with my teenaged Granddaughter when I visit them at Christmas! I’ve always read aloud to family, friends and school children my whole life and would love to read audiobooks as a profession. Perhaps I’ll ‘practice’ with this one… ;-}

  47. Caitlin Coffey says:

I would love to have this kindle because last year my fiance bought me my very own paperwhite kindle and I was so excited to use it! I immediately started downloading books and reading. A week later, I left it on my dresser one day while i went to work and my 3 year old got a hold of it and when I got home she had stepped on the screen and it no longer worked. I was devastated. My fiance came into my room to find me crying and promised to buy me a new one. A couple weeks later, he lost his job and I haven’t been able to afford one. I was hoping for one for Christmas this year or my birthday that just passed on November 1st, but unfortunately my mom is out of a job and I don’t have anyone else to expect a gift from. Winning the kindle would seriously be amazing. Thank you for the opportunity to win it!

  48. I would love to have one because I love to read and since my son is on his way to Afghanistan for 9 months, I can keep myself busy.

  49. sheila musselman askins says:

My daughter 8, wants a kindle fire so bad for Christmas, shes 8 and so addicted to reading!!.. and to be honest, myself, like everyone else lol money is ugh so tight. 51. Kat Emerick says:

I would love a kindle fire and ebooks because in the winter I really don’t go out and with my husband always working I get tired of watching the same old stuff on tv and love to prop myself up in bed with a good book. The kindle would be great mainly because they are lightweight and since I am older having trouble holding onto things that gets heavy. I have always love to read and I would love to get one for Christmas but we have limited funds. A few years ago I had cancer and spent a long time in bed and now can’t do or go too much anymore and would love to get back to reading again. Thank you for a wonderful giveaway.

  52. Allyson Tice says:

A kindle would come in handy this winter for my 82 year old grandmother who loves to read but i cannot get her out to the library as she is not as mobile as she used to be.I coudl download books at my house forher and take the kindle to her and she would be able to read her books. plus the screen would be easier for her to read instead of the tiny print in the books. My favorite way to read is snugged up on the couch with a cup hot tea, chocolate ot home made cookies, and just forget time and when it is to cold I even crawl under my sheep blankie Perfect! Unless it is summertime then I sit on m window bench, widow open and my cats rolled up with me, s cold drink or/and some fruit.

I would love to get this kindle and the books. I would actually give the kindle to my 11 year old soon. He’s in 5th grade and is struggling a bit with reading. His teacher suggested that we get a kindle for him as he reads better on her kindle. We don’t have the money right now to get a kindle, so this would be a blessing! The books, I would love to snuggle up to read on these freezing winter Wyoming nights while my husband is working. Andrea is a great writer! Thank you Andrea for this contest, good luck with your little one! Thank you to the sponsor and the hosts!

  59. I am a total book addict! I have literally hundreds of book. I also chain read, meaning that as soon as I put one book down, I immediately pick up another to start reading. I always have about 5 or 6 books going at the same time. :) A Kindle would definitely help me keep better organized with all my books AND it would certainly be beneficial to my poor wrist so that I don’t have to keep holding up all these heavy hardcovers (which is what I have the most of)! :)

  60. FRANK S says:

I do not have a portable devise to connect to the internet. A Kindle would be a great solution

  61. Mary Casper says:

A klindle would definetly come in handy when it snow…it doesn’t snow a lot here but I am on a mountain top and when it does snow I am stuck…I could read from the kindle instead of lugging heavy books around the house

  62. I was so glad that I was informed of this guveaway. I love Andrea Pearson’s writing style and was so excited to see this event. I would love a Kindle because it would be so much easier to read my eBooks on instead of my phone or computer. I do read a lot and I have a lot of eBooks but find it hard to read them when I am not sitting around my house.

  63. Candie L says:

A Kindle would be handy because schools are doing away with textbooks and my son could use this. Thank you

  64. My daughter loves to read and we frequently go to the library to take out books. We’ve heard so much about the Kindle that we’d love to have one of our own!

  65. I love reading and having a kindle would be awesome!

  66. glori johnson says:

I had to stop reading books because of the small prints though i am an avid reader. So the use a Kindle which has large prints for my eyes would be awesome. 68. Kindle is one of my top wants right now….as much as I’ve bucked the idea, I’m really only recently realizing how much I’d love one! I read ALL the time, always have a book with me! I also knit and crochete and am often searching for patterns. A girlfriend pointed out that the kindle is the perfect size to show patterns on- awesome!

Thank you to everyone who has worked to promote this and to the sponsor, Andrea, as well!

  69. celina k says:

I want a kindle so so so so badly. Currently my phone is my only internet access, and frankly…it sucks. I read so much, and have finally come to terms with modern society and decided I could add e-books to my collection without offending my rather large collection of paper books. But to do that..I need a Kindle! In short…I want a Kindle so so so so badly!

  70. I already have a kindle fire, so if I were to win this prize it would be a gift. I like being able to read anywhere, but I have run out of juice before I’m done reading!
Thank you for hosting this giveaway, this type usually has lots of enteries but I can dream!

  71. Awesome giveaway!

  73. Stephanie Foster says:

A Kindle would be awesome for several reasons. I am trying to reduce the clutter in my home, having books on Kindle instead of hard copies would definitely reduce the amount of clutter. Another reason having a kindle would be amazing is that I could use it while waiting for appointments or take it to work and read during lunch. A kindle would also be because it would finally make me one of the “cool kids”. I’m always the last person to own any of the newest technology. That would make me so happy’!

  74. Starletta Schipp says:

A kindle would be awesome to have in my purse for all that time I spend waiting on my kids!

  79. Andrea Williams says:

I would love to have a Kindle that I could give to my mom for Christmas. She reads all the time (even more than me!) and was complaining to me of not having enough books to read. :) The books sound interesting and I have two teens who would read them also. This is a great giveaway!

  80. Thanks to everyone who put together this awesome giveaway! Thanks especially to Andrea! You are awesome! I would love to win this for a Christmas present for my sister. She has the unfortunate distinction of being a bookworm like her older sister. ;)

    Thank you

  82. Debi H. says:

My husband and I both have a Kindle and we love them! I take mine with me everywhere. We both read before we go to bed and the Kindle is much easier to hold onto than a book while you are laying down.

If I were to win this I would give it to my Mother-in-law for Christmas. She reads a lot and I think she would really like to have her own Kindle.

  83. Melanie Smith says:

I love curling up with my Kindle, blankie, and a cup of hot chocolate. I was worried about Sandy knocking out the electricity and made sure the Kindle was charged and grabbed some quick free reads. My only problem is my 16 pound tabby cat is jealous of my reading time. He only wants on my lap when the Kindle is there. :)

  84. gale lombardo says:

thank you Andrea Pearson for providing this giveaway and giving me a chance to win this Kindle. 94. Michelle Findura says:

The Kindle would come in handy thus winter, because I have had four surgeries and have a difficult tine moving around. When I was in the hospital one of my nurses took my phone and started downloading ebooks. I was stunned it really took my mind off the pain.

    • Oh bless you, I know how debilitating it can be after surgery. Reading helps. I wish you the bestest of luck in winning this and recovering.
PS what I like about my Kindle the best is that I can make the type HUGE so I don’t have to wear my reading glasses 0-0 .
