I wanted to review this Phase+ Diabetic Skin Care Duo on behalf of my papa (step dad). He is a diabetic and has had so many problems with the circulation in his legs. I also wanted to review these for the poor circulation I have in one of my legs. If it helps me, I know it will help him.
I received two products for my product review; Exfoliating Wash (cleanse & scrub) and Foot Therapy (heals & protects).
The Exfoliating wash is used to exfoliate of course and the reason this is important for diabetics is help to prevent the skin from thickening. I’ve taken some photo of the wash which is clear in color and it smells of peppermint/menthol which is a pleasant scent to wash with. The wash lathers up really well so it doesn’t take a lot to get a nice clean wash. I’m not a diabetic however I have used this wash for the past two days to review it from my standpoint. This cleans really well and sloths off my dry skin. This wash provides a moisturizer in it and helps protect skin which is super important for diabetics. As I “mature” my skin becomes dryer by the day. For me this is helping my skin appear less dry and flaky. I can certainly see how well this could help a diabetic. It’s so important to take care of your skin when you have diabetes.
The foot therapy cream is the product I most wanted to try for myself. Because of extensive back injuries, I have poor circulation in my left leg. If I stand or walk around for more than 30 minutes my foot and leg swell really bad. It’s very painful when my blood isn’t flowing in that leg. The foot therapy is designed to heal cracked feet, relive pain & discomfort and help soften calluses. This cream is wonderful. I don’t say that lightly. It really makes my leg more bearable to withstand the pain when my SI Joint swells and no circulation is flowing down that leg to my foot. I did a lot of standing today which is normal for me when I’m working on multiple product reviews, taking photos, retaking photos, retaking even more photos, lol, I’m up and down, back and forth to my desk all day. I’ve been using this lotion for two days and like I said it’s made my leg pain more bearable which to me is a good sign that it is indeed helping my circulation. It’s so thick and creamy my feet just can’t get enough of it. They tend to get little cracks in them if I don’t pamper them to death.
I recommend these products to anyone who suffers from any of the symptoms I’ve mentioned. Like I said, I’m not a diabetic but I really want to continue using the foot therapy cream. I’ve not heard of this product until now.My husband lost 2toes this past year because of infection due to poor blood flow. Could you please let me know where to get some. Thankyou
I like that it stated the foot cream promotes blood flow. I have heart disease with a pacemaker and I do not have good circulation in my feet. thanks

i like the exfoliating bit. I am in a wheelchair, and not walking, means I don;t rub my feet in my shoes, etc, and the old skin doesn’t come off like typically.

I’m a type 2 diabetic and my feet are numb. I can still walk and drive. I have major back problems which cause pain in my back and lower extremities. I also have neuropathy from having chemo in 2011-jan 2012. I know diabetes is why my feet are numb and it’s really scary just thinking about losing my independence. Anything that can heal dry, cracked, painful feet would be a plus…and something made for diabetics is even better…my husband is diabetic and he makes me paranoid when he ignores his foot issues!!!

My husband is type 2 diabetic and skin care gets more difficult as time goes on. I’ve found a special diabetic lotion that helps heal faster. It’s considerably pricey but has worked wonders and does speed up the normal slow healing if he scratches himself while working outside. It seems like the slightest brush against tree or bush, and he has broken the skin. I’d love to let my husband try these products. His feet get very dry and scaly during the winter. Not sure that he has ever used a product labled as an Exfoliator though.
I am dia betic and I like the Grape seed extract that contains antioxidants and the Buffing beads help exfoliate thick, dry skin. These are great products that would be beneficial to any diabetic, great company.
I love that they are designed for the diabetic foot. The hardest thing for me was wearing shoes after being told I had to. I would love to see how these products are on my feet.

I would love to try these! I am diabetic & have a lot of feet & ankle pain do to all the nerve damage. I am not able to sleep much at night because of it. Would love to find something that really helps
