After having a sleepless week while all of the grand kids were here, I decided to Google sleep aids. I can’t sleep when there is a lot of noise. When they are here they all want a TV going to watch different things. They are running back and forth from their bed to the kitchen/bathroom and it’s downright noisy. I don’t know how they sleep with the noise but if I try to turn the TV’s off it wakes them up. By the end of week one of their 5 week school break, all of the noise was overwhelming especially after a long day of caring for them. I needed sleep. Somehow by luck I landed on the SleepPhone website. After reading over this site and this product, I was intrigued. That’s when I decided to contact SleepPhones to see if I could review some bed headphones.
I’ve tried sleeping with earplugs and it’s not my favorite choice. It doesn’t feel natural with something in my ears. The first thing I noticed about these headphones is that I wouldn’t have to wear earplugs. Nor would I have to use a separate eye mask because it can double as a eye mask as well as earphones. It’s so soft and comfortable. The grand daughters wanted to model this for me and I allowed them to, however when they wanted to wear them to bed I told them to turn their TV’s off and they wouldn’t have any noise to prevent them from sleeping. If only you could have seen their expression when they realized I meant it lol.
I can plug my “sleep pajamas” into a CD player, iPod, MP3 player, or any audio device player if I want to listen to soft music while wearing my SleepPhones. Be sure to check out the iPhone app and download the free music if you purchase one of these. Because of the terry material I don’t have to worry about the sleep headband headphones sliding off at night. It stays in place. I think next time I need a small though, the medium is a little bit loose on my head. It still does the job & stays on well and who knows, if my brain ever grows instead of shrinking it will fit perfectly lol. For those of you who married a snoring bear *ahem*, there is help. These sleep headphones really do block out snoring and other noises that can be *annoying* while you are trying to sleep. They come in 3 different color choices as pictured below. I love this product. I have sleepless night due to my husband snoring. I have also tried the ear plugs and either I take them out cause the don’t feel right or they fall out in the night and I awaken with the snoring bear n my ear. These would definitely guarantee me a good nights sleep. Thanks for the amazing review of a great product that I will definitely be looking into!

wow!! These look like HEAVEN! Christmas break kicked my butt…all of the holiday stress with no sleep… the kids have tvs all over the house, but they especially like the family room outside of my bedroom because it has “better surround sound”…awesome when we are all watching a movie together…not so awesome when I’m trying to sleep and Xbox is exploding on the other side of the wall.. :(
I am buying these right now and maybe me and my husband can sleep in the same room for the entire night.

these are awesome. I have alot of body pain cause the fibro & lupus and anything in my ears drived me NUTS but I bet these would be awesome for me
I have a hard time falling to.sleep at night due to my Fibromyalgia. Any noise other than the radio’s soft music just grates on my nerves (and my husband snores). I wear ear plugs, but they don’t keep the snoring out. This sounds perfect!

I use white noise to sleep, but this sounds like a good alternative when there is more noise than usual.

Thanks for showing and reviewing this. I have wanted to wear earphones to listen books or music at night but was afraid to fall asleep in them. My Mom is always wearing earplugs because of my Dad snoring so she will love hearing about this.

This would be wonderful. I have insomnia, and can’t sleep if there is noise in the house. I can’t wear earplugs (THEY HURT) and I already use a sleep mask. This seems so peaceful…
Wow i need this I have two snorers in my household which drives me crazy, i have problems sleeping as it is with any noises, and this would be truely amazinf to try as I hate earplugs or anything inside my ears.
i have to have a fan on for white noise even when I’m cold all year round, this might actually be a solution for me

I can’t stand my husband’s snoring! I sleep with the TV on to try and mask it, but it rarely works and if I don’t fall asleep before him I am doomed. I wear an eyemask now, but this sounds awesome!! I have earplugs so I think I could handle this headband type of device. Thanks for the heads up!
I love it they it looks so easy to put on and wear. I wouldn’t hear my husband snore anymore and the dogs bark outside at night.

I like the idea but would be scared of not being able to hear “relevant” things during my sleep, like the kids waking up or if something should happen.
This is amazing! I can’t believe no one thought of it before! I sleep with earplugs in my ears most nights because I am a sensitive sleeper and my husband snores like a freight train. (Fortunately) he works rotating shifts, so 1 out of every 3 weeks, he is working all night. After 2 weeks of earplugs, i need a week off from them. They are downright painful! This would really solve a lot of problems for me, since I also like to listen to meditations before going to sleep.
I wear ear plugs right now and I never knew that there was such a product like this to help you sleep! I love this product and I am going to look into seeing how it can work for me. My sister is interested in this product too. I like that you can also use it over your eyes.

These would be so much nicer than my current sleep pattern of poking the bear all night long to roll over. I sleep next to a horrible snorer. I also like quiet & dark while sleeping.

i would love to have some ‘sleep phones’. i sleep with a small fan on at night to use as ‘white noise’ so i can sleep through all the noise in my house. i would be able to actually listen to some quiet music on these. plus, they would be perfect for me to use to get back in to meditation.
This looks really comfy! I’m really sensitive to noise but I don’t like earplugs. I think this could be a good solution for me.
I seriously need these! My husband snores and I’ve tried in the past to drown out his snoring by using ear buds at night, but invariably they fall out and when they don’t fall out my ears end up hurting from the pressure of the buds because I sleep on my side. Seriously, what a great idea!
Thanks so much for this review. I’ve been looking for an alternative to earplugs (which I strongly dislike), as well as an option for my son who’s on the spectrum. Since my boys share a room this would work so that both are not affected by one child’s choice.
Hmm, I would like these! They sound like they would be extremely useful when a dog (*cough* No, not my dog! Whyever would it be my dog? It’s not like he enjoys barking at deer all the time or something…) starts a barking chain up and down the neighborhood when I’m trying to sleep!

I want these!!!! Not only does my husband snore, but both dogs do as well. And we live under a kitchen, with people who get up at 4am, so these would let me get the sleep I’m missing.
I love that they block out snoring! I need a pair of these for just that reason!!! Some nights it takes me forever to get my brain to block out the snoring.
I’m not sure I could sleep with a cord tethering me to my iPod…but it would sure be worth a try to sleep with only the sounds I choose!
