I come from a long line of sweet tea drinkers and it’s a beverage we serve with every meal. Some like it hot, some like it cold but there’s one thing we all agree on, there’s nothing like a good cup of sweet tea to quench our thirst. I decided to serve my family Southern Breeze Sweet Tea for a few reasons. The first is that I hadn’t unpacked everything in our kitchen yet and hunting sugar in a dozen boxes was out of the question. The second reason is because Abby was here and we limit Abby’s sugar intake (talk about major hyper). And of course the third reason was because I had received some Southern Breeze Sweet Tea, in the mail, shortly after moving in, and, luckily and happily, it wasn’t packed, hurrah.

Southern Breeze

Those are the reasons I decided to make Southern Breeze Sweet Tea for the first time, but it’s not the reason I continue to make it. Why do I continue to make it? Glad you asked… Zero calories. Bold and delicious. Abby likes it. We all like it. Easy to make. I don’t have to buy tea AND sugar (the sweetener is added in the tea bags).

Southern Breeze

Southern Breeze Sweet Tea was inspired by the South. I’m a Southern girl and I honestly don’t know anyone here in the South that don’t like sweet iced tea or a “cuppa” hot tea. If we have company over, tea is what I serve to drink. When we have events around town, tea is what I make to take. It’s so much easier and quicker to brew a cup of sweet tea now that I’ve discovered Southern Breeze Sweet Tea, I can make twice as much in half the time.

This sweet tea, with the taste that defines the South, is made with Splenda. Not even Abby noticed an aftertaste and that’s saying a lot. She. is. one. picky. little. girl.

If you are looking for a quality tea with a quality taste, give Southern Breeze Sweet Tea a try. It’s the next best thing to living in the South if you aren’t fortunate enough to live here.

Southern Breeze

Sweet Tea reminds me of my Grandmother since she always use to make it. Now when I take a sip I for a split second go back to my childhood having a cup with her.

  14. Jennifer Hiles says:

I remember watching my mom make sweet tea for the first time. I was very young and she filled a large jar with water and put (what seemed like) an entire box of tea bags hanging from the top. Then she took it outside and set it in the sun. I was in awe of this as I had never seen anyone make a drink using the sun! I remember sitting by the jar and watching the water turn dark. Now every time I have sweet tea, I think of my mom!

  15. Being as I was born in Georgia, I think loving sweet tea is in my blood. My grandmother always had tea so I grew up loving it and its my drink of choice. We usually make it one big jug at a time.

  16. Taryn T. says:

I can still see the jugs of sweet tea- really sun tea- sitting on my grandmother’s front porch. That is how she made sweet tea, and there is nothing like it!

  18. Jill Myrick says:

I have been drinking sweet tea for as long as I can remember.
On a trip to Indiana recently I went through a drive thru to get a sweet tea to drink and was informed that they didn’t sell sweet tea but would be happy to give me a few packets of sugar.
Needless to say I was shocked because I thought everyone sold sweet tea.
I guess I need to get out of NC more often.

  19. Laura ari says:

My grandmother used to make sweet tea by the gallon. We couldn’t wait for it to cool so we’d have to fill the glass with ice. Yum!

  20. noelle booth says:

  21. Les Johnson says:

My mother taught me how to make sweet tea and that became my chore as a kid. Now everyone asks me to make sweet tea for them when they come to visit. It is a must have during these hot summer months.
